At Plumpton Primary School, we are committed to ensuring that children can continue to access high-quality learning if they are unable to attend school and remote education is required.
Remote learning might be used if the school has to close, for example because of severe weather, or if a child cannot attend for a period of time but is well enough to learn. It is not an alternative to coming to school.
When remote education is needed, teachers will set work through Google Classroom that follows the learning happening in class as closely as possible. Children are expected to follow our usual rules for behaviour and online safety.
We recognise that every child and family’s circumstances are different. If there are barriers to accessing remote learning, we encourage families to contact the school so that we can work together to provide appropriate support.
